
This week, I’m sharing a few more backyard birds from our new home. I’ve learned few some things. The tufted Titmouse behaves like the Oak Titmouse we had in California. It comes to the feeder takes one seed then flies away. The Carolina chickadee’s pig out; those tiny birds are always at the feeder.

Nice captures! I’m not familiar with the brown-headed nuthatch… must be a more southern species perhaps? I’m pretty sure the last shot is a white-breasted nuthatch, though. We get those at our feeders. https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/White-breasted_Nuthatch

Look closely at the eye. The Red-breasted Nuthatch has a black streak through the eye, the White Breasted does not. Thanks
