Bald Eagle

A bird, a Bald Eagle, perched on a tree limb and surrounded by a tangle of tree limbs. The bird is on the left side of the image and is looking to the right. The bird’s body is black with some very thin stripes outlining the feathers. Its head is white. Its beak is yellow and its eye is yellow and outlined in black and with a yellow dot in the center.

Morning mist drifts over a calm river bordered by driftwood and leafless trees beneath a forested mountain slope. Sunlight filters through the haze, subtly illuminating sections of the trees while other areas remain in cool shadow. The sky in the upper left corner is bright blue with white clouds.

Note the log piles alongside the river. Washington had an atmospheric river event that caused much flooding. The logs are debris piles caused by the flooding.
