Killdeer

A bird, the Killdeer, foraging along a muddy riverbed. The bird is located in the lower left corner of the frame. It appears to be walking on a gray mud shoal or mud islet littered with debris and small green plants. The bird is facing right and has a worm in its pointed black beak. Its eye is a red circle with a black pupil. Its legs are a pale, pinkish tan. Its head is light brown with a white eye stripe. Its neck is banded with a white stripe and a black stripe. The upper part of its body is light brown. Its breast and underparts are white.
